Polyinform Contactless Inspection

To enhance on the existing conventional inspection technologies for buried pipelines avoiding excavations and extensive logistical preparations, Manar Al- I’Emar in association with Ojaj technologies of KSA decided to introduce Contactless Inspection Technology. A new patented pipeline inspection invention based on the measurement of minute magnetic waves caused by the interruptions to the natural magnetic field of the pipeline. The interruptions are caused by stress concentrations such as corrosion and mechanical defects.
The invented KMD-01 detects changes in the magnetic field of the pipeline remotely using high sensitivity magnetoresistive nano films.
